About Us

The Wyandotte Echo is the designated official newspaper for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas. We publish court-ordered legal notices and other public notices each week, including matters from the 29th Judicial District.

We publish every Thursday. The newspaper is mailed to your home or office, and is also accessible through this website.

Publishing a Legal Notice

If you would like to publish a legal notice, please submit it by email to [email protected] or by using the “Contact Us” form on this website. Upon receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from our office.

Deadline: Friday at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Central Time to ensure publication the following Thursday. The confirmation email will include your scheduled publication dates.

After the first publication, you will receive a Proof of Publication affidavit along with an electronic clipping of your legal notice. The affidavit is typically accepted for electronic filing with the court or for in-person submission.

Billing

Established customers will be invoiced and the invoice will include the Proof of Publication affidavit. New customersare required to pay in advance and will receive the Proof of Publication affidavit by email after the first publication.
